En directo en Feinstein's at The Nikko (San Francisco): Richard Skipper Celebrates! Life Lessons from Legends

Richard Skipper Celebrates! Life Lessons from Legends Halloween Eve • Friday, October 30 Featuring Special Guest Matthew Martin as Judy Garland Award-winning entertainer, host, producer, and LIVE ENTERTAINMENT historian Richard Skipper makes his long-awaited debut at Feinstein's at the Nikko with his acclaimed new production, Richard Skipper Celebrates! Life Lessons from Legends, as part of his 2026 Autumn Tour. Following a sold-out New York premiere at The Laurie Beechman Theatre, this audience-driven celebration comes to San Francisco for one unforgettable Halloween Eve. Described by NiteLife Exchange as "an immersive event space," and by Theater Pizzazz as "a human standing ovation for the business we call show," Life Lessons from Legends is an audience-driven celebration where stories, songs, and shared memories remind us that the people who inspire us become the legends in our own lives. Before the performance begins, audience members are invited to submit questions that help shape the evening. Those questions inspire stories, songs, laughter, and heartfelt conversations, ensuring that no two performances are ever the same. Drawing from a lifetime of friendships and conversations with legendary artists including Carol Channing, Jerry Herman, Julie Wilson, Marilyn Maye, Lucie Arnaz, Melissa Manchester, Lesley Ann Warren, and many others, Richard celebrates the wisdom they've shared while inviting audiences to reflect on the extraordinary people who have shaped their own lives. Joining Richard for this special Halloween Eve celebration is Matthew Martin, whose acclaimed portrayal of Judy Garland has captivated audiences throughout the Bay Area. Together they'll create an evening filled with music, stories, laughter, and a few surprises. And because it's Halloween Eve... Come dressed as your favorite legend! Whether your inspiration is Judy Garland, Carol Channing, Tony Bennett, Barbra Streisand, Liza Minnelli, Bette Davis---or anyone whose life has inspired you---we invite you to join the fun. Special prizes will be awarded for some of the evening's most imaginative legendary looks. This is more than a cabaret. It's a celebration of the artists who inspire us, the people who mentor us, and the moments that shape our lives. You'll leave talking not only about the legends celebrated onstage, but about the legends in your own life. For more information: Richard
