On stage at Westwego Perf Arts Theatre: A Mardi Gras Carol

Ebeneezer ?Bubba? Scrooge has hated Mardi Gras his whole life. On Lundi Gras three ghosts of Carnival Krewes past, present, and future try to convince him that there's more to it than just beads and king cake -- it?s a celebration of our unique community! Ricky Graham?s latest New Orleans musical comedy has a jazzy, down-home musical score by Harry Mayronne, Jr., combining the funky sounds of New Orleans jazz, spasm bands, and Dixieland. Like Ricky?s other shows And The Ball And All and It?s A Wonderful Life, Y?all we get to see the real New Orleans in a parade of local characters and comedy! It?s a new way to celebrate the Christmas holidays because, as most locals will tell you, Christmas is really just a count down to the Carnival Season! A new treat for the whole family!
