Terms of use

Last updated: 15 October 2026

These terms apply to your use of goingoutly.com. The service is provided by the operator of GoingOutly. By using the site you accept these terms; if you do not agree, please do not use it.

What the service is

GoingOutly is a free guide to concerts, theatre, comedy, sports, exhibitions and family events. We collect listings from ticket platforms, open-data portals and venues, and link to the places where you can buy tickets or book a hotel. You do not need an account.

We do not sell tickets

GoingOutly is not a ticket seller or travel agent. When you buy a ticket or book a room, your contract is with the seller or booking platform alone, under its own terms. Questions about payment, delivery, refunds, cancellations or postponements must go to that seller.

Listings come from third parties

Event data comes from external sources and is updated automatically. Dates, line-ups, venues, prices and availability can change at any time or be wrong at the source. Always confirm the details with the official seller or organiser before you buy or travel.

Links to other websites

Our pages link to websites we do not operate. Some of these links are affiliate links, which means we may earn a commission if you buy through them, at no extra cost to you. We are not responsible for the content, availability or practices of those websites.

Acceptable use

  • Do not access the site automatically at a rate or volume that slows it down or harms its availability for others, and respect robots.txt.
  • Do not misuse the /og image endpoint, the /go/ redirects or any other endpoint, for example to generate images unrelated to our listings or to inflate click counts.
  • Do not try to bypass security measures, probe for vulnerabilities without permission or interfere with the service.
  • Do not use the site for anything unlawful, or present our content in a way that suggests we endorse you.

Intellectual property and open data

The design, texts and compilation of GoingOutly are protected. Parts of the content come from open sources and remain under their own licences: City of Paris open data and OpenStreetMap under the ODbL, Wikipedia and Wikidata excerpts under CC BY-SA / Wikidata CC0, Wikimedia Commons photos under the free licence stated next to each image, and Overture Maps data under CDLA-Permissive-2.0. If you reuse that material, follow its licence and credit the source. Data from ticket platforms remains subject to their terms.

Liability

The service is free and provided as is. To the extent permitted by law, we accept no liability for the accuracy or completeness of third-party listings, for events that change or are cancelled, or for transactions with sellers and booking platforms. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as liability for intent, gross negligence or injury to life, body or health.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms when the service or the law changes. The version published on this page applies from the date shown below.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the country where the operator is established, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protection rules of the country where you live.
