Live at Lion Arts Factory in Adelaide: AENIMA - THE ULTIMATE TOOL TRIBUTE SHOW - “Ænima” Album 30th Anniversary Tribute

AENIMA – THE ULTIMATE TOOL TRIBUTE SHOW are four Tool fans from Adelaide with collective love for Tool’s music, which inspired the quartet in 2022 to push their own musical boundaries and create a passionate, dynamic, energetic and authentic live show that has since gone on to become one of South Australia’s premiere tribute acts.

With several local/interstate headlining shows and festivals under their belt, AENIMA – THE ULTIMATE TOOL TRIBUTE SHOW have proven that they can not only play the demanding music of Tool, but also sonically emulate their unique sound and take you on the mind bending musical journey that Tool are renown for.

AENIMA – THE ULTIMATE TOOL TRIBUTE SHOW represents everything that a Tool tribute show should be.

The virtuosity of Tool in “Ænima” lies in the power of their imagination, where through a potent groove, we encounter a range of themes with distinct force. It’s an album that must be listened to at least once in life with closed eyes, focusing our senses and thoughts solely on its music (Jesus, The Rock Review 30 Jan 2024)

Through the mesmerising chemistry of Justin Chancellor's hypnotic bass riffs, Adam Jones' snaking guitar textures and Danny Carey's inspired precision on drums, Tool's sonic ethos on “Ænima” coaxes us further into the darkness, to sit longer with our pain and to find a sense of comfort in even the most deeply unsettling events. (Caz Tran. ABC – Double J – 16 Aug 2021) "The sooner people realise that the ugly stuff is just as important as the beautiful stuff, it goes hand in hand, [then] I think we can get on with evolving," Keenan explained in 1993. (Caz Tran. ABC – Double J – 16 Aug 2021)
