Formé à l’origine à Londres et mené par le compositeur Petter Ericson Stakee, le groupe anglo-suédois Alberta Cross a connu une ascension fulgurante, après avoir signé chez Fiction Records au Royaume-Uni et chez Geffen aux États-Unis après seulement quatre concerts. Leur carrière repose sur des tournées incessantes et un succès culte qui s’est construit petit à petit. Au fil des ans, Alberta Cross a partagé la scène avec des artistes aussi variés qu’Oasis, Neil Young, Them Crooked Vultures, The Shins, Portugal. The Man, Mumford & Sons et Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, tout en se produisant dans des festivals tels que Coachella, Glastonbury, Bonnaroo, Fuji Rock, Reading & Leeds et Splendour In The Grass.
