Le Strasbourgeois Markobi est champion du monde de la magie dans la catégorie cartomagie. Personnage atypique, tantôt imprévisible, tantôt attachant, Markobi vit sa magie en même temps que ses spectateurs, avec une désinvolture, une nonchalance et un j’m’en foutisme qui ont fait douter le monde entier, en lui ramenant l’or aux mondiaux de magie (rien que ça) ! Ce qu’il partage autour d’une tasse de café, ses quelques trucs, beaucoup de lui, et c’est ça qui fait tout.
Le roi de l'improvisation, Markobi est un personnage atypique et très attachant. Dans son attitude de personne désinvolte et un peu sur la lune, on s'aperçoit que rien mais absolument rien n'est laissé au hasard. Il maîtrise ses jeux de cartes avec une nonchalance parfaite. C'est agréable de ne pas sentir le travail dans ses gestes par la façon de faire. Bref, Markobi est un extraterrestre de la magie. C'est un champion du monde de magie mais surtout un artiste.
