Live at New Jersey Performing Arts Center in Newark: Bruce Hornsby & Christian McBride
Sunday, November 15, 2026 at New Jersey Performing Arts Center, Newark
About this event
Bruce Hornsby & Christian McBride takes place on Sunday, November 15, 2026 at New Jersey Performing Arts Center, Newark.
Bruce Hornsby is known for combining rock, folk, jazz, bluegrass, and improvisation driven piano work. Beyond hits like The Way It Is,he's built a reputation as an adventurous live performer. Christian McBride is one of the most celebrated jazz bassists of his generation, with deep roots in straight ahead jazz, but he has also collaborated across funk, soul, classical, and contemporary music. When they perform together, the chemistry tends to lean heavily into improvisation, jazz-infused Americana, rhythmic interplay storytelling through musicianship rather than just songs. It's the kind of collaboration where no two performances are exactly alike.
