Avec 25 ans de carrière et des milliers dekilomètres parcourus, DANAKIL s’est imposé comme l’un des groupes majeurs de lascène reggae française. Né au début des années 2000 dans les cafés-concerts etsalles underground, le collectif a rapidement conquis les Zéniths et les grandsfestivals européens, portant une musique roots, engagée et affranchie des codesdu genre.

Fidèle à son indépendance, DANAKIL a créé son propre label, BACO RECORDS,devenu aujourd’hui BACO MUSIC. Après « Demain peut-être » en 2024 et sa versionenrichie « Demain peut-être Reload » en 2025, le groupe poursuit en 2026 unetournée historique de plus d’une centaine de dates, qui s’achèvera à l’Olympiale 19 décembre. Le groupe prendra ensuite une pause consacrée à la création deson prochain album.

Danakil is a French roots reggae band created in 2000 by a group of Parisian college students. The band quickly gained acclaim due to the many concerts and festivals they performed in. The band continues to transmit its message through a music mixing reggae and world music.
