The American artist Daniel Arsham creates interdisciplinary art firmly situated in the world.
As the artist himself states, “I make things I want to see exist in the world.” Arsham’s sculptures often resemble eroded artifacts or fragmented monuments, blurring the boundaries between art, architecture and design.

The walls are filled with art and the space with conversation as Makasiini Dialogues becomes part of the opening nights.

Guided by a moderator, the conversation explores the newly opened exhibitions, the artists’ practices and perspectives, and broader questions surrounding contemporary art today. Following the conversation, the dialogue continues informally with the artists in their exhibition spaces.
For the next Makasiini Dialogue, Daniel Arsham will be in conversation with moderator Roland-Philippe Kretzschmar (The Art Bystander) at 18.00, on the occasion of Arsham’s exhibition opening.
