L'énergie du swing au cœur du Melville.
Drop Six, c’est un sextet aux arrangements originaux inspirés du répertoire du jazz américain des années 1930 à 1950.
Le groupe s'inscrit dans la continuité d'un jazz festif et joyeux tout en s'inspirant de figures majeures telles que Fats Waller, Count Basie, Ella Fitzgerald ou Sidney Bechet.
Grâce au timbre de ses trois soufflants et au swing de sa section rythmique, la formation recrée l'effet chaleureux et énergique d'un grand orchestre… l’effet Big Band !
