Le groupe de metal progressif norvégien ENSLAVED annonce sa nouvelle tournée en co-tête d'affiche avec le groupe islandais SÓLSTAFIR, avec en première partie le groupe norvégien GAAHLS WYRD. Les trois groupes partiront en tournée au Royaume-Uni et en Europe en février 2027.
ENSLAVED sera en tournée pour promouvoir son nouvel album, Mið , qui sortira le 30 octobre chez Nuclear Blast Records. SÓLSTAFIR assurera quant à lui la promotion de son dernier album, Hin helga kvöl .

Le nouvel album d'ENSLAVED, Mið un mot du vieux norrois signifiant centre ou milieu , marque un nouveau tournant et un nouveau départ. Le groupe a toujours exploré les états de transition, notamment à travers les rites de passage thématiquement liés et imprégnés de mythologie que furent Utgard (2020) et Heimdal (2023).
Hin helga kvöl mêle la sonorité mélancolique caractéristique de SÓLSTAFIR à des éléments de leur passé, créant ainsi un album à la fois contemplatif et novateur, tant par son ampleur que par la qualité de ses compositions. Au cœur de Hin helga kvöl se trouvent les interprétations personnelles, sincères et électrisantes des membres du groupe, qui mettent en lumière la capacité de SÓLSTAFIR à fusionner les genres de manière fluide pour créer quelque chose sans précédent.

Enslaved is a Norwegian extreme metal band formed by Ivar Bjørnson and Grutle Kjellson in Haugesund in 1991. They are currently based in Bergen. The band's lineup has changed many times. Bjørnson and Kjellson are the sole constant members. The current lineup also includes lead guitarist Arve Isdal, keyboardist/singer Håkon Vinje, and drummer Iver Sandøy.
