Anna Maria Sibylla Merian (1647-1717), artiste et naturaliste allemande, se distingue par ses dessins de plantes et d'insectes. À travers ses observations et reproductions très détaillées, elle a effectué un travail scientifique considérable, notamment sur la métamorphose des papillons.
Des coloriages reprenant ses œuvres seront mis à disposition sur demande, pour les plus grands et les adultes.
Exposition proposée dans le cadre de l'Automne de la science dans les bibliothèques - La nature nous inspire.
