Live at Atlanta Symphony Hall: Fauré's Requiem with ASO

November 12, 14, and 15, 2026 at Atlanta Symphony Hall, Atlanta

Atlanta Symphony Orchestra Nathalie Stutzmann

About this event

On November 12, 14, and 15, 2026, Fauré's Requiem with ASO comes to Atlanta Symphony Hall. Atlanta Symphony Orchestra and Nathalie Stutzmann are on the bill.

Music Director Nathalie Stutzmann presents two of the most potent voices in 19th-century French music: Hector Berlioz and Gabriel Fauré. Feast your ears on a little Faust, once described as a "sort of opera," but filled with dazzling, Berlioz-style ear candy. The Atlanta Symphony Orchestra also performs his plush and atmospheric song cycle Les nuits d'été, featuring the "magnificent and majestic" (Forum Opera) mezzo-soprano Juliette May. After intermission, Maestro Stutzmann brings out the internationally renowned ASO Chorus for Gabriel Fauré's hauntingly beautiful "lullaby of death," the Requiem Mass.
