Live at Amager Bio in Copenhagen: Holly Humberstone (Postponed)

Holly Humberstone has, in just a few years, established herself as a distinctive songwriter on the international indie-pop scene. Her music is rooted in personal experiences of love, distance, and connection, and is defined by a clear, direct style in which emotions are allowed to stand unadorned and exposed. This approach has earned her widespread recognition, including a BRIT Rising Star Award and an Ivor Novello nomination. With her second album, Cruel World, Holly Humberstone presents a more cohesive and mature artistic vision. The record inhabits a darker, dreamlike landscape where pain and euphoria exist side by side, and where love is portrayed as both grounding and demanding. The music is melodic and accessible, yet possesses a depth that gradually reveals itself layer by layer. Live, Holly Humberstone is known for performances that emphasize atmosphere, intimacy, and storytelling. She has played sold-out shows around the world and appeared at some of the biggest international festivals. On September 22, Holly Humberstone comes to Amager Bio for an evening where her music will have room for both intimacy and scale.
