About this event
On Wednesday, 9 December 2026, Home Alone in Concert - Film with Live Orchestra comes to Sheffield City Hall Oval Hall.
Experience one of the ultimate festive films in a whole new way -with the iconic soundtrack by John Williams performed by live orchestra and choir. This true holiday favourite and beloved comedy classic starring Macaulay Culkin defending the family home against two bungling thieves at Christmas is both hilarious and heart-warming. Watching it on the big screen with the music performed live is a whole new experience: all the slapstick mayhem and classic quotes of the movie you know by heart, with the festive spirit dialled right up. Home Alone in Concert is a joyful and nostalgic night out - holiday fun for the whole family, with moments that'll make you laugh, cheer, and maybe even shed a tear when the 'O Holy Night' choir swells.
