Avec [IN]IMAGINABLE, Fluctuart propose une immersion dans les imaginaires issus du lowbrow et du pop surréalisme. Pensée comme une introduction accessible à ces mouvements artistiques, l’exposition retrace leurs origines, leurs influences et leurs prolongements contemporains à travers une sélection d’œuvres, d’objets cultes et d’installations in situ.
Le visiteur traverse différents espaces inspirés des cultures underground qui ont façonné le mouvement : comics, skate culture, art toys, affiches de concerts, cinéma fantastique ou illustration alternative. À travers ce dialogue entre références historiques et créations contemporaines, l’exposition révèle l’influence durable de ces esthétiques sur notre imaginaire collectif.

Des œuvres originales et éditions d’artistes majeurs de la scène internationale comme Ron English, Todd Schorr, Jeff Soto, Travis Louie, Tara McPherson ou Dave Cooper y côtoient les installations immersives d’artistes contemporains invités à investir l’espace, parmi lesquels Amandine Urruty, Benjamin Lacombe, Marco Mazzoni, Stan Manoukian, Stom500 et Veks Van Hillik.
Entre cabinet de curiosités contemporain et parcours initiatique, [IN]IMAGINABLE invite à explorer un territoire où le réel bascule dans la fiction, où l’enfance rencontre l’étrange, et où les images populaires deviennent le support d’un imaginaire libre et subversif.
