Live at Backstage at The Green in Kinross: Joe Martin - An Evening Of James Taylor & Carole King Songs

'An Evening of James Taylor & Carole King' is a stunning celebration of two musical legends whose careers have spanned over five decades and whose influence on popular music is immeasurable. The show features the very best of both artists — from Taylor's timeless classics such as 'Sweet Baby James', 'Fire and Rain', and 'You've Got a Friend', to King's iconic masterpieces including 'It's Too Late', '(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman', and 'I Feel the Earth Move’.

Together, their songbooks tell the story of a generation — of love, loss, hope, and the quiet beauty of everyday life. From the confessional intimacy of the Laurel Canyon era to the soulful warmth of their later works, every song is performed faithfully and with the heartfelt spirit in which it was originally written, capturing the gentle grace of Taylor and the raw, piano-driven passion of King.

During this captivating two-hour show, you will be transported back to simpler times, wrapped in the dulcet tones, lush melodies, and deeply personal storytelling that made these two artists not just superstars, but the very heartbeat of American song. Whether you fell in love to 'So Far Away', found comfort in 'You've Got a Friend', or simply grew up with these songs as the soundtrack to your life, this is an evening that will stir the soul, lift the heart, and remind you why great music never fades.

Don't miss this beautiful tribute to the finest songs written in the last half a century.
