Veteran Saxophonist NORBERT STACHEL & Multi-Flutist KAREN STACHEL lead LEHCATS with GRAMMY® Nominated Percussionist BILL SUMMERS, in an energetic fusion of modern jazz, funk, Afro-Latin rhythms, and world music, featuring original compositions and a distinctive, melody-driven sound. Norbert has toured and performed with legendary artists including Prince, Sheila E., Boz Scaggs, Diana Ross, Tower of Power, and Roger Waters of Pink Floyd. An accomplished jazz and classical flutist, Karen has performed with the New Amsterdam Symphony Orchestra and contributed to trumpeter Wallace Roney's Universe, featuring music written by Wayne Shorter for Miles Davis. LehCats' 2024 album, 'LehCats Live @ The Breakroom with Giovanni Hidalgo', has gained recognition on the jazz charts. The band includes award-winning percussionist CHRISTOPHER "EL PINTOR" VELAZQUEZ, renowned percussionist DANIEL GONZÁLEZ, exceptional bassist AMINA SCOTT, and New Orleans-born pianist SHEA SIRAJ.
