Résumé : Un récit historique dramatisé sur l’ascension et la chute d’Urbain Grandier, un prêtre catholique romain du XVIIe siècle accusé de sorcellerie à la suite des prétendues possessions de Loudun, en France. LES DIABLES met également en lumière sœur Jeanne des Anges, une religieuse sexuellement réprimée qui, sans le vouloir, déclenche les accusations.
