Certaines œuvres ont leur secret ; Les Quatre Saisons en possèdent certainement un, elles qui sont parvenues à une telle célébrité dans la production dite « classique ». Lorsque VIVALDI fit publier en 1725 à Amsterdam, son recueil de douze concertos pour violon, il n’imaginait sûrement pas que quatre d’entre eux, feraient tant pour sa prospérité.
