The organiser's description
MENTAL CRUELTY Mental Cruelty saapuu Suomeen joulukuussa! Saksalainen deathcoren ja black metalin elementtejä yhdistelevä yhtye nähdään Helsingin Ääniwallissa 11.12.2026. Vuonna 2016 perustettu Mental Cruelty on noussut kansainväliseen metallikenttään intensiivisten live-esiintymistensä ja neljän julkaisunsa myötä. Yhtyeen soundissa yhdistyvät demoniset vokaalit, tunnepitoiset riffit, raskaat breakdownit ja eeppiset orkesterisovitukset. Vuonna 2022 mukaan liittynyt vokalisti Lukas Nicolai aloitti yhtyeelle uuden aikakauden, joka huipentui Century Median kautta julkaistuun ZWIELICHT-albumiin. Iltojen lämppärinä nähdään mm. Las Vegasista ponnistava Ov Sulfur. Entisen Suffokate-vokalisti Ricky Hooverin luotsaama blackened deathcore -yhtye syntyi pandemian keskellä ja on sittemmin noussut nopeasti genrensä kiinnostavimpien nimien joukkoon. Ov Sulfurin musiikissa yhdistyvät synkät deathcore-breakdownit, black metal -vaikutteet, melodiset kertosäkeet ja uskonnollisia teemoja haastava lyriikka. Mukana kiertueella myös Extermination Dismemberment ja Acranius.
