In autumn 2026, music play sessions and a family café will be held on Thursdays at 10.00 at Malm Svenska Ungdomsförening’s house Solhem in Malmi in northern Helsinki. The music play session is aimed at children aged 0 to 5 and their carers, but anyone who is at home during the day and would like to come along and enjoy some cheerful songs and the lovely hustle and bustle of the little ones – followed by an informal coffee break afterwards – is also very welcome!

No booking required; free entry (with a voluntary coffee fund). Please notice that the event is in Swedish.
Several bus routes stop right by Solhem (Malmin sairaala bus stop) and there is also plenty of parking at Solhem.
The music play sessions are jointly arranged by Norr om Stan, Malm Svenska Ungdomsförening and Olaus Petri, with support from the foundation Brita Maria Renlunds minne, Tre Smeder and the Swedish Cultural Foundation. Norr om Stan and Malm Svenska Ungdomsförening run the café.
