Night Lovell est connu pour sa voix grave et ses productions envoûtantes et atmosphériques, mêlant noirceur et sens artistique pour forger une identité sonore unique. Originaire d’Ottawa, il a été très tôt influencé par des musiciens locaux, notamment son père — dont le deuxième prénom, Lovell, a inspiré son nom de scène. Le mot « Night » reflète son penchant pour les longues nuits passées à créer de la musique. Bien qu’il ait grandi entouré de musique et qu’il ait joué de la batterie, son parcours artistique a débuté à 17 ans, lorsqu’il s’est mis à créer des beats avant de se tourner vers le rap sur ses propres productions. Au fil de son évolution, il a pris conscience qu’il souhaitait aller au-delà de la production et monter sur scène pour établir un lien plus direct avec le public. Cette évolution a abouti à son premier projet, Concept Vague, qui comprenait le single « Dark Light », certifié disque d’or. Depuis lors, Night Lovell s'est imposé comme l'une des figures de proue du hip-hop underground, avec plus d'un milliard d'écoutes et des tournées à l'international. Sa musique allie rap, musique alternative et ambiances sonores cinématographiques, et se caractérise par une production envoûtante, une voix puissante et des paroles introspectives. Avec *My Blood As The Ink*, Night Lovell entame un nouveau chapitre marqué par une évolution artistique, une profondeur émotionnelle et une expression de soi sans concession.
