For a few years now, the group has been performing to delighted audiences across Finland. The 2026 Nothing Is What It Is tour once again features a diverse selection of Dire Straits songs. Additionally, the band also performs songs from Mark Knopfler’s solo career, paying tribute to Knopfler as a versatile songwriter.

Dire Straits and Mark Knopfler
Dire Straits was formed in London in the late 1970s. The band quickly rose from pubs to stadiums, becoming one of the biggest bands of the 1980s. Dire Straits had its own distinctive sound, not least thanks to band’s frontman, Mark Knopfler. The group split up in the early 1990s, but Knopfler is still making great music.
