In Helsinki: Open day at the Kindergarten Museum
17 and 18 November 2026 at Kindergarten Museum, Helsinki
About this event
The exhibition Open day at the Kindergarten Museum is scheduled for 17 and 18 November 2026 in Helsinki. It's free to attend.
On open day, admission to the Kindergarten Museum will be free and the museum will be organising activities to celebrate Children’s Rights Week.
Admission to the Kindergarten Museum will be free to celebrate Children’s Rights Week and the Children’s Culture for All! campaign. You can look forward to exploring the museum at your own pace, lots of play and a journey into the history of early childhood education. In the museum’s Paja workshop, you can make a little tea light holder as a souvenir of your visit!
We especially welcome families with babies to visit us in the morning between 10 a.m. and 12 noon.

The museum can accommodate around 100 people at any one time, but its long opening hours help to even out the number of visitors present at any given time.
Please note that the Kindergarten Museum's Children's Rights Week event is intended for individual visitors and families. Groups of more than five people may visit the museum by booking a separate visit outside the event hours. For more information, please visit the museum's website.
