La Fanciulla del West **Nueva Producción** Música de Giacomo Puccini | Libreto de Guelfo Civinini y Carlo Zangarini Transmisión en vivo: Enero 23, 2027, 12:00h (Ciudad de México) Estrenada en 1910 en el Metropolitan Opera, La chica del Oeste, de Puccini, es considerada la primera gran ópera western del repertorio lírico. Situada durante la fiebre del oro en California, la obra sigue a Minnie, dueña de una taberna y mujer de estrictos principios, quien desafía la ley para proteger al forajido Dick Johnson. Puccini construye una intensa historia sobre el amor y los dilemas morales. El Met presenta su primera nueva producción en más de 30 años, dirigida por el multipremiado Richard Jones.
