Oskar Haag est l’un des nouveaux artistes indie-pop les plus captivants d’Autriche. À seulement 20 ans, il s’est déjà produit dans certains des festivals de découverte les plus prestigieux d’Europe — notamment l’Eurosonic Noorderslag, The Great Escape, le Reeperbahn Festival et Waves Vienna — et a assuré la première partie d’artistes internationaux tels que Birdy et AVEC. Avec sa voix envoûtante, ses textes poétiques et sa présence scénique qui désarme par son émotion, Haag offre des performances profondément intimes qui trouvent un écho auprès de toutes les générations. Pas étonnant que Chris Martin soit un grand fan…
Il s’est fait remarquer pour la première fois au niveau national en 2021, en se produisant en solo au Popfest Vienna à l’âge de 15 ans, festival où il est revenu trois ans plus tard en tant que tête d’affiche. S'ensuivirent une série de singles en tête des classements FM4 (« Stargazing », « Lady Sun and Mr. Moon », « Black Dress », « The Summer We Need »), le lancement de son propre label, Lullaby Records, et la sortie de son premier album « Teenage Lullabies » en 2023, qui a fait son entrée dans les classements autrichiens à la 6e place.
