About this event
On 2 and 9 November 2026, Poetry group at the Kontula Community House comes to Community house Kontula in Helsinki. Entry is free.
We write one poem every Monday. Everyone is welcome to join!
We gather every Monday from 12:00 to 13:30 to write poetry together under the guidance of a volunteer facilitator. The event is held in Finnish language and is suitable for Finnish language learners.
In a friendly and welcoming group, we discuss favorite poems and poets, read poetry, listen to music, play with words, create new poems, and explore the Finnish language together.
Poetry enthusiasts are welcome to join us!

”Niissä on neljäs ulottuvuus, niissä on kielen magiaa. – Kirsi Kunnas
