Following their tour with TAIM, The band have released three singles from their forthcoming album: “Deathbed” (featuring Alex Koehler ex-Chelsea Grin / Ameonna), “Radio Bleed”, and “Failure Of Being” (featuring producer Josh Sid Robinson).

Gradience is a Danish metal band from Copenhagen that, in just a few years, has established itself as one of the most uncompromising and genre-defying new acts on the Nordic metal scene. Blending blackened death metal, trap rap, metalcore and atmospheric synth textures, the band has forged a sound that feels simultaneously brutal, emotional and strikingly original.
Formed in 2023 by guitarist Jakob Harris and vocalist Gavin Mistry, Gradience brings together backgrounds in extreme metal and hip-hop, with bassist Patrick Petersen and drummer Frederik Hansen completing the band’s powerful live sound.
In 2025, Gradience signed with Metal Blade Records, marking a major step forward for one of Denmark’s most distinctive emerging metal acts Their debut full-length album, Anomaly, was released in September 2026, bringing together crushing blackened death metal, dark trap and hip-hop, heavy breakdowns, emotional melodies and hypnotic electronic elements across eleven tracks. The album has received international praise for its distinctive sound and seamless fusion of styles.
Having already played across Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Germany, Gradience are quickly emerging as a force on the European live scene, proving that their genre-blending sound is every bit as effective live, where the contrast between crushing heaviness, rap, melody and atmosphere takes on an entirely new intensity.
“With a skillful blend of rap, metalcore, and black metal, the quartet goes a step further than well-known rap metal acts and weaves dark, atmospheric black metal riffs into trap beats and powerful breakdowns.” – Metal Hammer Germany
“The raw power of the guitars and double bass meets hard-hitting flows, emotional melodies, and hypnotic electronic elements. In terms of quality, GRADIENCE can easily hold their own against the bigger names in the genre.” – Rock Hard Germany
