Première création sonore et visuelle de l’autrice belge Emilie Franco, ce spectacle tisse un lien entre le Reality Shifting ( pratique de « voyage quantique » popularisée par des adolescent-es sur TikTok ) et l’histoire d’exil de Marianna Belmonte, sa nonna centenaire qui aurait quitté la Sicile d’après-guerre en 1954 à la fois vers Liège et New York.
Penser au multivers peut-il nous aider à relativiser notre regard sur le monde ? Comment prendre soin de nos alter-égos ?

Une voix chante. Un écran s’allume, des villes se superposent : Agrigente, Liège, peut-être New York. Et entre ces lieux, une question s’agite : et si plusieurs versions de nos vies existaient simultanément, autant de regards possibles sur soi et sur le monde ? Mêlant théâtre, musique live et vidéo, That’s the Way the Cookie Crumbles explore l’hypothèse du multivers et notre désir de fuir le réel pour en imaginer d’autres.
