Thee Marloes sind ein Durchbruch in der indonesischen Musikszene. Das aus Surabaya stammende, spritzige musikalische Geheimtipp-Duo verbindet Soul, Jazz und Pop mit einer unverwechselbaren indonesischen Note. Die Band besteht aus Natassya Sianturi (Gesang/Keyboard), Sinatrya Dharaka (Gitarre) und Tommy Satwick (Schlagzeug). Ihr Debütalbum „Perak", das bei Big Crown Records erschienen ist, hat mit seinen mitreißenden Grooves und gefühlvollen Balladen internationale Aufmerksamkeit erregt. Nach ihrer „Sailing Away from Perak"-Tour, die sie durch Indonesien, Australien, Malaysia und Indien führte, sowie nach Tourneen in Japan und den Vereinigten Staaten hat die Band bewiesen, dass sie Live-Publikum aus den unterschiedlichsten Kulturkreisen in ihren Bann ziehen kann. Ihr neuestes Album „Di Hotel Malibu" markiert ein selbstbewusstes neues Kapitel, in dem sie ihren Sound erweitern, dabei aber weiterhin in der gemeinsamen Chemie, dem Groove und dem Songwriting verwurzelt bleiben, die das Trio von Anfang an geprägt haben.
