The paintings are meant to bring joy; the most important thing in their creation was the pleasure of creating them, and chance has often played a part in their creation. Depending on the viewer’s interpretation, the paintings may feature lace stockings, whirls of wind, fields of flowers or storms – art created for one’s own enjoyment is always guided by a wild imagination and a colour palette that appeals to one’s own eye.

“I create art by using acrylic paints and markers, employing the ITE method. ITE means self-made (personalised) life and art created entirely by yourself; the methods emerge through the process of creation. I encourage everyone to find joy in colours in their own lives too, and to boldly step outside the box with a paintbrush or a cup of paint in hand. It’s wonderful to create all kinds of art without any pressure – and to enjoy your works with the pride of creation.”
