Anyone who has already visited at least one of their concerts will testify that they remember it with sincere joy in heart. It´s always not only pleasant, but also admirably perfect and naturally energetic, unforgettable show. URIAH HEEP is a legend of the genre and Mick Box revealed about its long career: "I think what drives us forward is one word - it's called passion. And if you have passion for what you do, you will eventually achieve it." URIAH HEEP debuted in 1970 with the release of one of the milestones of world hard rock "Very 'Eavy, Very 'Umble" and since then have sold over 40 million albums worldwide. They tirelessly tour the world and play up to 125 concerts a year for more than 500,000 fans. The band's live performances include classic songs interestingly mapping their incredible journey from the beginnings of the band to the present. URIAH HEEP, along with LED ZEPPELIN, BLACK SABBATH and DEEP PURPLE, helped shape the face of uniquely British heavy metal and rock. It was from these roots, with classic, seminal records such as "Gypsy", "Bird of Prey" and "Walking in Your Shadow", that Uriah began their meteoric rise in the world of rock and metal, which continued with other works such as "Demons and Wizards", "The Magician's Birthday" and "Sweet Freedom". URIAH HEEP are also responsible for the most sublime and intelligent use of vocals in a heavy metal context among the major bands that invented the genre in the 1970s. It is for this reason that "Heep" have been called the Beach Boys of heavy metal, and their influence is also evident in other bands, including Sweet and Queen. The most inspiring chapter in the URIAH HEEP saga is the era that begins in 1986 with the entry of keyboardist Phil Lanzon and in 1987 singer Bernie Shaw into the band, and Phil and Bernie are still in the band today. While in the 90s URIAH HEEP worked at a relaxed pace, in 2000 they released four albums of completely new music -- "Wake the Sleeper", "Into the Wild", "Outsider" and finally "Living the Dream", the latter of which is considered a masterpiece by the band's passionate fans. URIAH HEEP's 25th studio album, titled "Chaos & Colour", was released in January 2023. The current URIAH HEEP line-up includes Mick Box, vocalist Bernie Shaw, bassist Dave Rimmer, drummer Russell Gilbrook and keyboardist Phil Lanzon. URIAH HEEP's live in the Czech Republic!
