At Japanese Canadian Cultural Centre in Toronto: Wagashi Making: Enjoy Daifuku with Atelier Wa

Part of the Aki no Tabi event at the JCCC! More on Aki no Tabi Let's make homemade daifuku mochi from scratch! This hands-on workshop begins with a short introduction to the history of mochi and daifuku, before guiding you through making your own sweet mochi dough. While the dough steams, you'll prepare the sweet bean paste filling, then learn to wrap and shape your own daifuku. We'll finish by enjoying our freshly made daifuku together with Japanese tea --- and you'll take the rest home with you!
