By any measure, London based pair Wasia Project have had an absolutely extraordinary year – sold out live runs in the UK, US, Asia and Australia, buzzed about festival appearances in the summer, shoots for magazine covers worldwide and, in Nocturne, a critically and commercially successful debut LP which firmly and finally established the sibling duo of Will Gao and Olivia Hardy as white hot talents in their own rights.
Now, following a pair of intimate, stripped back Sydney shows – both of which sold out within minutes of announcement – Wasia Project are heading back to our fair shores at the start of the new year, this time with the full band in tow. It all kicks off on January 15th, with a show at the storied City Recital Hall, as part of the Sydney Festival, continues onto Melbourne at Northcote Theatre the next night and wraps up at the Triffid in Brisbane on the 19th. Get tickets while you can – the full scale majesty of Wasia Project live is definitely not to be missed.

David Scott, also known by his stage name the Kiffness, is a South African musician, producer, and parody artist who is the founder and lead singer of the band the Kiffness. Despite the band's name, Scott is referred to as the Kiffness alone.
