Le passage au tout numérique dans le domaine des techniques cinématographiques ne doit pas faire oublier que le cinéma est né d'un support argentique emprunté à la photographie : la pellicule.
Pour que les images puissent s’animer sur un écran, cette bande souple et transparente suivait un parcours bien précis, de sa fabrication à son chargement dans les projecteurs. Bientôt, la pellicule aura totalement disparu des cabines de projection. Garder en mémoire son histoire facilite la compréhension des origines du cinéma.

L’atelier propose aux enfants la découverte de la matière « pellicule ». Après un peu d’histoire, ils joueront les cinéastes en herbe en manipulant des caméras et projecteurs Pathé-Baby, dont la simplicité a fait rentrer le cinéma dans les salons au début du XXème siècle, bien avant la télévision. L'atelier se termine par une courte projection de films muets en ciné-concert.
Les ateliers sont pensés pour être fait en famille. Les parents accompagnent et participent aux ateliers. A partir de 8 ans - Durée : 1h30/1h45
