Christian Sands. Pianista y compositor, nominado al Grammy por su disco Be Water (2020). El New York Times elogió su toque "nítido pero enérgico" y su capacidad para integrar elementos de rock progresivo, góspel y música clásica en su sonido jazzístico. Desde joven fue pianista de la banda del contrabajista Christian McBride, quien se convirtió en su mentor e influyó en su filosofía musical de autenticidadchristiansandsjazz.com. Con una concepción post-bop enriquecida con orquestaciones clásicas y toques melodramáticos, Sands ofrece un lenguaje personal donde convergen las baladas sensibles con cadencias contemporáneas.
