Chanteuse de Latin Jazz installée à Paris, Laura Buenrostro tisse depuis plusieurs années un univers élégant où se rencontrent les grandes traditions musicales d’Amérique latine et l’improvisation jazz.

Avec ce concert, elle propose une rencontre singulière entre deux de ses projets phares : Brazilian Songs et Caracola. D’un côté, un hommage vibrant aux grandes voix de la chanson brésilienne — Elis Regina, Elizeth Cardoso, Leny Andrade — qui ont marqué les années 1950 et l’histoire culturelle du Brésil. De l’autre, Caracola, son deuxième album, où elle revient à ses racines latines à travers des compositions originales coécrites avec le pianiste Laurent de Oliveira.
Bossa nova, jazz latin, boléro, balada jazz, chachacha… Laura Buenrostro mêle répertoire et création dans un concert sensible et lumineux, porté par la finesse de son interprétation et la richesse de ses influences.
Une soirée placée sous le signe du voyage, de l’émotion et du groove, où la tradition dialogue avec la modernité.
