Par une nuit pluvieuse, au fin fond des Ardennes, MartinMartin doit enterrer son père. Il est alors loin d’imaginer que la découverted’un carnet manuscrit va l’entraîner dans une quête vertigineuse à traversl’Histoire et les continents. Quinze ans plus tard, au cœur du désert algérien,une mère et sa fille disparaissent mystérieusement.

Mêlant personnages célèbres et illustres inconnus, lePorteur d’Histoire nous invite à relire l’histoire, notre Histoire, à traverscelle de Martin Martin, mais aussi celle d’Alia et de sa fille, d’Alexandre etd’Adélaïde, de Marie-Antoinette ou du Prince de Polignac.
Dans unecourse effrénée, cinq comédiens endossent les costumes d’une myriade depersonnages. Ils sont là pour nous livrer un double héritage : un amas delivres frappés d’un étrange calice et un colossal trésor accumulé à travers lesâges par une légendaire société secrète.
