Été 1980. Yann Lemée, 28 ans, étudiant en philosophie et homosexuel, frappe à la porte de son idole, Marguerite Duras. Il ne la quittera plus. Rapidement, l’écrivaine va tenter de façonner la vie du jeune homme à son image, jusqu’à vouloir le rebaptiser Yann Andréa. Commence alors une relation vertigineuse qui entremêle la vérité et la fiction, l’intensité et la destruction, et que l’on considère encore comme l’une des grandes passions qui ont marqué l’histoire de la littérature.

à travers l’histoire de Yann Lemée, pour opérer un retournement de
point de vue et tenter de redonner voix à celui qui est devenu un
personnage de l’oeuvre de Duras. La pièce s’emploie à confronter ce qui
reste encore idéalisé dans l’imaginaire collectif et nous invite à
questionner nos ambivalences, en replaçant cette relation à échelle
humaine. Est-ce que l’amour peut prendre racine dans la fascination d’un
être pour un autre ? Peut-on accorder une place à la violence dans
l’intime ? Sous quelle(s) condition(s) ? Où s’arrête l’amour et où
commence l’abus ? Et, en filigrane, qu’est-ce qui fait que la postérité
décide de retenir telle ou telle version de l’histoire et sur quoi
choisit-elle de fermer les yeux ?
