Réunies à l’écart de la société, Modeste, Clara, Sorana, Babou, Noé, Phillys et Paulette prennent le temps de se reconstruire. Elles forment un ensemble drôle et enjoué, entre retraite spirituelle et utopie politique.
Tout se passe dans une résidence destinée à des femmes. Sept
pensionnaires y cultivent gaiement leur faculté d’émerveillement avec
l’aide de Claudia, la dévouée directrice. Au travers d’activités
manuelles, artistiques, ou encore par la pratique de la discussion,
elles s’essayent, tant bien que mal, à l’art de la joie.
