Das Festival eröffnet die israelische Mundharmonika-Virtuosin Ariel Bart mit ihrem Trio. Mutig betritt sie musikalisches Neuland und verbindet elegant modernen Jazz mit klassischen und nahöstlichen Einflüssen zu dichten, kammermusikalischen Klangwelten von filmischer Atmosphäre.

Danach feiert das Silke Eberhard Trio sein stolzes 20-jähriges Bestehen: Mit scharfen Konturen, improvisatorischer Intensität und einem blinden Vertrauen, das auf zwei Jahrzehnten tiefer Freundschaft basiert, prägt das Trio rund um die „Jazzpreis Berlin“-Trägerin die Szene mit ungezähmtem Spielwitz und stilistischer Freiheit.

In 2026, the rejazz-festival celebrates its seventh edition, continuing to champion new perspectives in jazz. At its core are female bandleaders performing with artistic independence and vision – in dialogue with international guests and the Berlin scene. Over three days, the festival showcases the diversity, boldness, and vibrancy of today's jazz – featuring Ariel Bart, Silke Eberhard, Kika Sprangers, Liz Kosack, Julie Campiche and Aki Takase.

The festival opens with Israeli harmonica virtuoso Ariel Bart and her trio. Boldly stepping into uncharted musical territory, she elegantly blends modern jazz with classical and Middle Eastern influences to create dense, chamber-music-like soundscapes with a cinematic atmosphere.

Next up, the Silke Eberhard Trio celebrates its milestone 20th anniversary. Driven by striking musical edge, improvisational intensity, and an intuitive chemistry forged through two decades of close friendship, this exceptional lineup – led by the acclaimed Jazzpreis Berlin winner – has spent twenty years shaping the scene with brilliant wit and absolute stylistic freedom.
