Programm DAY 3

Den Finaltag eröffnet die visionäre Schweizer Musikpreisträgerin Julie Campiche mit ihrem Solo-Projekt Unspoken. Inspiriert von Virginia Woolf widmet sie dieses Programm der weiblichen Kraft: Mit Harfe, elektronischen Effekten und Spoken-Word-Elementen verleiht sie jenen Frauen eine Stimme, die allzu oft verschwiegen wurden. Es entsteht ein zutiefst emotionales, elektroakustisches Klanguniversum voller fragiler Schönheit – eine cinematographische Performance, die an die geheimnisvollen Welten eines David Lynch erinnert.

Den krönenden Abschluss des Festivals bildet eine generationenübergreifende Weltklasse-Kollaboration. Hier trifft Jazz-Avantgarde auf Urban Club Culture: Die Klavier-Urgewalt Aki Takase, jüngst ausgezeichnet mit dem Deutschen Jazzpreis 2026 für ihr Lebenswerk, begegnet dem Ausnahme-Turntablisten DJ Illvibe (Seeed) und dem virtuosen Tänzer Kofie da Vibe. Zusammen sprengen die drei Freigeister alle Genregrenzen zwischen Improvisation und Streetdance und erschaffen ein unberechenbares, pulsierendes Gesamtkunstwerk im Hier und Jetzt!

In 2026, the rejazz-festival celebrates its seventh edition, continuing to champion new perspectives in jazz. At its core are female bandleaders performing with artistic independence and vision – in dialogue with international guests and the Berlin scene. Over three days, the festival showcases the diversity, boldness, and vibrancy of today's jazz – featuring Ariel Bart, Silke Eberhard, Kika Sprangers, Liz Kosack, Julie Campiche and Aki Takase.

Program DAY 3

Opening the final day is the visionary Swiss Music Prize winner Julie Campiche with her solo project Unspoken. Inspired by Virginia Woolf, she dedicates this program to female empowerment: channelled through harp, electronic effects, and spoken-word elements, she gives a voice to women who are all too often silenced or made invisible. The result is a deeply emotional, electro-acoustic sonic universe of fragile beauty—a cinematic performance reminiscent of the enigmatic worlds of a David Lynch film.

The festival reaches its grand finale with a breathtaking, cross-generational collaboration where jazz avant-garde meets urban club culture. Piano powerhouse Aki Takase—recently honored with the German Jazz Award 2026 for Lifetime Achievement—joins forces with exceptional turntablist DJ Illvibe (Seeed) and virtuoso dancer Kofie da Vibe. Together, these three boundary-pushing artists dissolve the lines between improvisation, beats, and street dance, creating an unpredictable, pulsating, and multi-dimensional performance right in the here and now!
