En convoquant Shakespeare aujourd’hui, Nathalie Garraud et Olivier Saccomano font surgir une jeunesse électrique et irrévérencieuse en quête de sens. Les figures mythiques d’Hamlet se réincarnent ici en corps vivants, traversés par le doute et la colère, nous éclairant sur notre monde.
Le prince Hamlet, son ami Horatio, Ophélie, son frère Laërte. Qu’ont encore à nous dire, quatre cents ans plus tard, ces personnages shakespeariens ? Ici, ils ne sont plus des figures du passé mais deviennent quatre jeunes d’aujourd’hui, nerveux·ses, drôles et d’une lucidité désarmante. Perché·es sur un escalier, téléphones en main, ils et elles parlent pouvoir, violence, corruption et désir, avec l’humour comme arme de survie.

En frottant Shakespeare aux fractures contemporaines, Nathalie Garraud et Olivier Saccomano font entendre une parole vive, désenchantée mais indocile, où la tragédie devient un terrain de jeu critique et joyeusement insolent.
