Pendant près de 40 ans, Walter Rauff, l’un des criminels nazis les plus recherchés au monde - notamment pour son rôle dans la fabrication et l’utilisation des camions à gaz qui ont fait plus de 150 000 victimes - est parvenu à échapper à la justice.

Une justice qui va se heurter à la raison d’État. Car Rauff est un nazi protégé. De la fin de la Seconde Guerre mondiale jusqu’à sa mort, au milieu des années 1980, Rauff va offrir à différents services secrets, amis ou ennemis, son « savoir‑faire » acquis au sein de la SS et de la Gestapo. Italie, Syrie, Allemagne, Amérique Latine, et même Israël…
La route que nous allons emprunter est celle qu’il a lui-même suivie. Une route tracée par le sang de toutes ses victimes.
