Laibach est un groupe slovène fondé en 1980 à Trbovlje, alors en Yougoslavie. Figure majeure de la scène industrielle et expérimentale européenne, le groupe est aussi l’un des membres fondateurs du collectif artistique Neue Slowenische Kunst (NSK).Depuis ses débuts, Laibach développe un univers radical mêlant musique, performance, arts visuels et réflexion politique. Son esthétique monumentale détourne les codes du pouvoir, de la propagande et des idéologies totalitaires pour mieux questionner leurs mécanismes. Musicalement, le groupe navigue entre industriel, électronique, rock, musique martiale et néoclassique. Il est également célèbre pour ses réinterprétations spectaculaires de morceaux populaires, transformant notamment les Beatles, Queen ou encore des hymnes nationaux à travers son identité sonore unique. Avec plus de quarante ans de carrière, Laibach continue de publier de nouveaux projets et de se produire internationalement. En 2015, il est notamment devenu le premier groupe occidental à donner un concert en Corée du Nord.
