AVANT-PREMIÈRE Dans le cadre du Mois du film documentaire France, documentaire, 41 min, Bak Project, 2026.
Enfant prodigue surnommé « l’enfant miracle » par le poète Avrom Sutzkever, Samuel Bak tient sa première exposition en 1942 à l’âge de 9 ans dans le ghetto de Vilnius. Aujourd’hui peintre de renommée internationale, il revient, devant la caméra de sa fille Daniela Bak, sur son enfance dans le ghetto, sa survie miraculeuse avec sa mère, mais aussi sur la naissance de son langage artistique : un univers de symboles, de métaphores et de fragments reconstruits qui deviennent des méditations philosophiques sur la mémoire, la perte, le hasard et la condition humaine.
