AVANT-PREMIÈRE Dans le cadre du Mois du film documentaire France, documentaire, 70 min, Normal, Les films du tilleul, 2026.
La réalisatrice Agnieszka Juszczak part sur les traces de l’artiste polonaise majeure Alina Szapocznikow afin de comprendre comment son vécu - marqué par la guerre, l’exil et la maladie - a façonné son œuvre. Arrivée à Paris en novembre 1947, elle élabore sa sculpture dans sa rencontre avec l’esprit artistique de la capitale, où elle fera la connaissance de César, puis par ses nombreux allers‑retours entre la Pologne et la France jusqu’en 1963.

Progressivement émerge en filigrane dans son œuvre son expérience des ghettos et des camps : Pabianice, Łódź et Bergen-Belsen où elle demeura environ dix mois. En exhumant des fragments de son passé, le film de Juszczak tisse un dialogue fantasmé lors de cette enquête intime entre deux époques, deux pays, deux femmes polonaises ayant émigré en France.
