Dans le cadre du Festival Paris en toutes lettres P.O.L., 2026.
Début des années 1960, Bernard et Alex sont deux frères mais n’ont pas le même nom. Bernard s’appelle Appelbaum et son père fut déporté à Auschwitz en 1942. Alex s’appelle Zygleman et son père a trouvé la mort en 1949 dans un avion qui s’est écrasé aux Açores. Leur mère a aimé les deux hommes dans une histoire qui rappelle celle de Jules et Jim. Dans un emboîtement de récits qui se font écho rappelant la tradition hassidique entre fiction et vérité, ce roman d’initiation est une quête à travers les souvenirs, les archives du passé, avec ses absences et ses disparitions.
